Art Deco Rare Westclox Earth Moon and Stars Celestial Clock Paperweight. A vintage Westclox Earth, Moon and Stars, Celestial wind up Desk Clock and paperweight. USA patented 98049 Circa 1930. Also known as a table clock, read from above, with a huge, decorative solid glass dome in perfect condition. Roman numerals around the horizontal edge, with the hour hand as the Moon and the minute hand as a shooting Star. It was fully serviced twenty years ago, and was in full working order. I have not wound it or used it for many years, and recommend another servicing before use. Excellent age patina with no mentionable damage. The rear still has the original red felt backing to protect precious surfaces, plus the imprint Patent U. Over 98049, below the time speed adjustment control, with the Westclox logo imprinted above.
