A lovely example of an Art Deco, 1930’s SECTRIC electric Mantle Clock by Smiths, in blue Bakelite. In very good order. The flex & plug has been updated a while ago, checked and fully working, please see video. Nice gold numerals, as well as a second hand, minute & hour hands. There is a small mark inside the glass clock face, I cannot clean it as the glass cover is not hinged, and would need to be opened by a clock/watch maker. It could be attended to, but personally, I would leave well alone. It measures 18.5cm wide x 14.5cm high x 4cm deep. Becoming quite rare to find a clock working, in really good condition. Such a well made clock, testament to British Engineering, Made in England, over 90 years ago.
