Beautiful long and low 22 long matched burl walnut veneer buttressed case with silver numerals and hands. Original key is included. Hermle 12cm / 196 pendulum movement. Cabinet has a stress crack in the back to the veneer but still has a nice finish. Some light oxidation to the hands and numerals commensurate with age. Clock does work and Westminster chimes. Has a really nice sound to it. There is a silent switch as well. Like all vintage mechanical clocks the movement will need some tinkering with as clock strikes on the I/2 hour like it is the hour and vice versa so it is off. Apparently this is easily adjusted once you receive the clock and set it properly with the correct sequence. Wind it, get the pendulum swinging, move hands to 12 o’clock let it strike that hour 12 gongs and then set the time. Dims: 22″ long x 9″ high x 6 deep. There are youtube videos on how to do it. Also runs a little slow but there is an adjustment screw at the bottom of the pendulum for a longer sweep. I sell all mechanical clocks “as found” for parts or repair.
