Up for your consideration is this Beautiful Antique Art Deco French marble 8-Day Key wind mantel clock complete with garnitures. The Ivory color with gray veins through the Marble/Slate case/cabinet also with Redish color accented designs complete with a wonderful set of Ornate Garnitures are all in Amazing cosmetic condition. I did not see any cracks but I did see/feel a Flee Bite chip on the top saucer round edge on 1 of the Garnitures. The brass bezel & glass on the front opens & close nicely & it is in Great condition. The hands are in Great condition & the Ornate looking ivory enamel dial face of the clock is in Extremely Nice condition. The Approximate size of the clock is 13″ long, 51/4″ wide/deep & 11-1/2″ high & the dial face is “Approx” 4″ in diameter & a total of 5 including the bezel. The “APPROXIMATE” Size of the Garniture Set is 4-1/4″ Diameter &9-1/2″ High. The mechanism itself is complete with Key & Pendulum & appears to be in good condition & there is a number stamped on the mechanism “Patented” June 14 81. The clock seems to run well & keeps pretty good time. THIS IS A VINTAGE CLOCK & KEEPS GOOD TIME BUT IT IS NOT A QUARTZ CLOCK & YOU MAY OR MAY NOT HAVE TO RE-ADJUST THE PENDULUM AFTER RECEIVING/UNPACKAGING IT. PLEASE READ SOME MORE INFORMATION BELOW. Clock is in good original condition for age and looks beautiful wherever displayed. Original cream enamel dial. Arabic numerals & original hands. Dial is in good original condition. Dial sits behind its glazed brass bezel to protect it. Original French 8 day timepiece movement. Original anchor escapement with original fixed French pendulum. Movement is in full working order keeping reasonable time. Original fixed pendulum & winding key to wind it. The back plate of the movement is signed with the early Japy Freres makers stamp.
