Antique 1930’s Square Faced Oak Art Deco 8 Day Mantel Clock. This is an antique 1930’s square faced oak Art Deco 8 day mantel clock. This is in fantastic condition and in full working order. It has a stunning oak body in a square shape with Art Deco carvings to each side. The oak has a darker conker coloured finish with a darker visible grain. There is an engraved presentation plaque to the top which reads Presented to R. ILES from the progress dept. The face is a square silvered dial with black roman numerals and sliver hands. There are two winding trains. The face has a chrome framed convex glass casing, which is intact and is in excellent condition. The clock stands on two long rectangle feet. To the back of the clock is a door to the mechanism chamber. The door is intact and in excellent condition. The mechanism has been very well maintained. There is a coiled chime bar.
