“‘CINQ HIRONDELLES’ ENAMELLED GLASS CLOCK (1920)”. The clock is rectangular in shape and is decorated with five birds enamelled blue and flowering branches. At the back is a circular wind-up clock which has been mounted to the glass. It is engraved’R. Lalique’ on the front. Height: 5 3/4 (14.6 cm). On the front base there has been a repair to the glass. The glue that was used to carry out the repair has aged and turned yellow. However, although this is not good the break is quite clean and no pieces are missing so a much better, restoration, repair would be possible.
