STUNNING ANTIQUE FRENCH MARBLE MANTLE CLOCK QUALITY ARTS & CRAFTS/DECO DIAL. Absolutely stunning antique french multi coloured marble and ormolu gilt brass mantle clock. Clock has key winds and work it is gaining around 10 minutes a day and could probably do with a proper service. The marble is in mostly excellent order with some small chips near the base on both sides they are hardly visible and can mainly be noticed when they are felt. The clock stands at approx 11 inches and measures approx 12 inches across the base. The clock is very very heavy. Looks to be signed inside. Clock is constructed by gluing a marble veneer over a base. It is high quality and quite unique looking. Clock has a lovely dial and is in my opinion between the arts and crafts and Art Deco style and would date to around 1920. Any questions welcome and open to decent offers.
