SEIKO QXM147BRH – Elvis & Beatles Songs – Collector’s Edition. DESCRIPTION: The frame is oval in a simulated wood grain pattern over silver color face with gold tone accents. There is gold trim around the inside of the frame and center numerals. It shows figures playing musical instruments inset in archways. The one at the top, in blue with red trim and red boots, is playing a violin and sways from side to side as the music plays. The dark disk behind him, highlighted in gold with red and blue crystals, rotates to the left while the music plays. There are two smaller figures located on gold platforms, on both sides of the center of the clock, at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock. The one the left, in purple, is playing a trumpet. The one on the right, in red, is playing a drum. These figures do not move. The ornaments, in the center, embellished with Swarovski crystals on a dark background, rotate to the left as the music plays and emit a blue glow when light hits them. The clock hands are an attractive and interesting combination of Breguet/Pomme (round hoop near the tip) and Syringe (needle-like thin pointer). The pendulum, located on the bottom, have 4 Swarovski crystals which display a light blue glow and revolve constantly whether the music is playing or not. The pendulum have mirrors in the background with red arches. The design on the bottom, on both sides of the pendulum, show castles in the clouds. CONDITION: This is a beautiful clock, works perfectly as it was designed, in very good overall condition and well taken care of. This clock is perfect with the exception of some scuff marks on the gold under the pendulum section. Photos 6, 7, 8 and 9 show these. Photo 6 is a photo of it hanging on the wall and the scuffs do not show. Photo 1 is taken on a chair in direct sunlight. The 4 marks on the top are not flaws/scuffs but shadows caused from the chair rungs. The scuffs do not affect the beauty or performance of this clock and are not noticeable when the clock is hanging on the wall. There is no rust or corrosion in the battery section. This clock, as well as other Seiko Melodies In Motions clocks, require direct sunlight or direct indoor lighting to be in the line of sight of the receiver (located below #4 and #5) to allow the automatic hourly music and movement. T he last photo is of the original box that I found on computer. The box is not included. I posted it so you can get. A more clear view of the clock.
