Here is a rare 1930s Art Deco cylindrical FLIP CLOCK this one with a Westinghouse label. The 6 long cylindrical form, in mahogany with holly trim, is more well known with a New Haven label. The clocks are identical I have had 2 New Haven examples previously and they are alike. These early digital gems are seldom seen at all but when encountered they usually have broken glass this one is sound and solid. It does not run and will need electronic attention. The mahogany case with holly trim is completely original the finish needs only some polish if desired. The back of the clock has the Westinghouse label at the center of the base Style WS-611-437T several patent numbers and Westinghouse Elect. Supply Co, Hamilton St, New Hanven, Ct. The base still retains the original “PERSEUS NUMERAL TIMEPIECE” label. The general feeling is that these were all made by New haven and some retailed by Westinghouse. More than just a pretty picture.
