ART DECO Seth Thomas Alarm/Desk Clock-Marbelized Bakelite/Catalin-Works and Keeps Time. This clock is in good, used condition. It works well and keeps time to within a few minutes. Nice, quiet and soothing ticking sound. It is a dark chocolate brown with orange swirls. THERE IS A VERY SMALL CHIP to the top left corner which is hardly noticeable. In excellent condition and functional, this is an art-deco piece from a famous Japanese-American designer. The Bakelight case is in great condition for an item of its age, and retains its original gloss. Only the rear plate, screws and nuts that hold the mechanism in place have mild rust.
