The clock did light for a short time and then there was a spark at the socket so I would not recommend plugging the clock in again, do repairs first. This Telechron electric clock was manufactured between 1929 and 1931. A proper reproduction cloth covered cord was installed today by Kevin Frattalone at Radio Restorations in Putnam, CT. The exterior is free of chips or cracks, there are no repairs, and with a little polish this clock could look like new.
