A fabulous midcentury piece by famed Japanese American designer Isamu Noguchi. This clock was the first Noguchi’s designs to go into mass production and is circa 1932. The clock showcases the inception of industrial materials, and was an early artifact of Noguchi’s design métier. In excellent condition and functional, this is an art-deco piece from a famous Japanese-American designer. The Bakelight case is in great condition for an item of its age, and retains its original gloss. Only the rear plate, screws and nuts that hold the mechanism in place have mild rust.
