GE-Telechron Refrigerator Clock 1928-31 with GE Shakers, Decals & GE Water Bottle
For the visual condition of this working 16 circular-cooling-fin (and 11 vertical lower fin) GE Monitor-Top Refrigerator Clock, the Monitor-Top Salt & Pepper Shakers (both w/full GE decals), & the glass GE Monitor-Top Water Bottle, which was issued by GE/Telechron from 1928-31 to buyers of their Monitor-Top Refrigerators (and issued with no Model #), please review the 21 HIGH-RESOLUTION PHOTOS and the VIDEO (of the clock running) that are included in this listing. This Refrigerator Clock RUNS & KEEPS TIME; we have cleaned and lubricated the clock, and have replaced the cord with a period-correct white Rayon cord, using the original two “GE” plugs (see close-up photos). We have essentially reconditioned this clock except for the ivory-white paint, as that is a matter of opinion to the collectors of these clocks. Paint work is not our expertise; and we prefer aged/original. The GE Salt and Pepper shakers in one sense are not particularly rare — BUT in this case they are EXCEPTIONALLY RARE –They BOTH have FULL GE DECALS — look at other listings for these shakers and see what they are like! By themselves these shakers would command a steep price. Even the water bottle is much better than is typically found; they usually have about 100 years of water/calcium deposits and are distasteful looking. This one is mostly crisp and clear, with one thin, barely-noticeable horizontal water line. All in all, this set of items is about the best one can do, other than the dial face of the clock, which is easily-replaced with a dial face from another GE monitor-top clock that is being parted-out.
