No chips or nicks to the case. The clock works and keeps time, the knob to work the time hands is a little sticky but does work without too much of an issue. The alarm works, but the knob to move the alarm hand is not work and the alarm hand is loose. The button to turn the alarm on/off does work and when tested when the time got to where the alarm hand rested, the alarm worked is and turned off by depressing the button on the back. The glass cover to the face of the clock is very clean, no scratches. Main issue, is the alarm hand which is loose and will move by physically turning the clock, with the knob on the rear not functioning. The power cable is good as is the plug.
