This is an alarm clock. The clock work does not work except for the bell. Because the style is so pure. Just marble in a right triangle, standing on 4 little balls like obelesks do Gild bronze birds. It weighs 4 pounds. I have not opened it up but it must have been cast by one of the known guys. Also the fact that the clockwork is not really Deco yet original leads me to believe it is the earliest Deco and they made the clock round the clockwork they had. A year later all the dials would have the familiar Deco look. Why else would they make such a pure Deco object but not us a Deco clockface?
