Vtg Art Deco Bakelite TELECHRON Flip Clock Cyclometer ” Grenada ” Model 8B11. This is the Telechron “Grenada”, model 8B11 in the company’s Cyclometer series and designed by one of America’s industrial design giants, Walter Dorwin Teague. This clock runs smoothly and quietly and keeps accurate time. The faceplate and ivory number tiles are clean and free of any scratches or marks. The red “power out” indicator works as intended, flipping automatically to red whenever power is interrupted. A small lever underneath manually resets it before the clock is powered back on. Dimensions are 8 1/8″W x 3 5/8″H x 3 7/8D. The coloring is inherent in the bakelite material itself, not painted on. The case has no hairline cracks or chips, and the power cord is safe, pliable and well insulated.
