This Mauthe Mantel Clock looks to be of’50’s vintage. It was an estate acquisition and has Winchester Chimes (5 rods & hammers) and sounds on every quarter hour. It keeps time well and is a beautiful coutours. It is 15″ X 8 1/4″ x 5 9/16. The only issue is the the bezel binds a bit and has to be pushed closed. It appears to have been adjusted. I do not know its history. With any clock of this caliber, I suggest investing in periodic maintenance schedule by a professional clockmaker.
