Damaged, Rare Crystal Bent Fyrart Art Deco Clock
Only dropped once (not by me), a very, very scarce Fyrart Clock with a repaired base. This clock has an 8 1/2″ gold mirror face on a “L shaped. The clock met with an unfortunate accident and the base broke where the bolt goes through and connects to the bottom of the clock. The base was then subsequently epoxied back together. This problem aside, the clock is in excellent condition. The mirror has no issues. The original “Crystal Bent” foil sticker is still present on the base even though. All the wording has been worn away. There were two brands of electrical motors used in Fyrart clocks; Waltham and New Haven. This clock has the original harder to find New Haven. The motor is absolutely quiet and acts as though it could be run constantly for the next 80 years with no problems. The break in the base is least objectionable, when the clock is displayed higher up such as on a fireplace mantle.
