This is a Cartier France vintage Art Deco sterling silver and bakelite clock. 3 3/8″ inch square sterling silver case is hallmarked and stamped “Cartier, Made in France and is initialed J. Deco luminous numbers on gold finish with embossed spider web design, signed “Cartier, New York-Paris-London”. Also signed “France” below number 6. 8 day gilt movement has lever escapement, compensation balance, and overcoil hairspring and is marked “Ollier, France 15 Jewels, 3 Adjustments”. Bakelite back is embossed inside with #77618 and the date 11-14-31. Clock is complete and running. Beveled glass is a little loose and rattles.
