Original vintage neon clock by Curtis Neon Clocks. This is an old one, not a repro done by the company of the same name that makes neon clocks now. They don’t even offer any in this style. It features cool Art Deco numbers and a chrome bezel with a single strip of pink neon. It lights up a room beautifully. It is a great small size so it can be used in a smaller room like a kitchen without overpowering the room. There’s a place to hang it from a wall as well as chains from the top if you wanted to hang it in a window. IZE: 15 1/2″ by 15 1/2″ by 5 1/4. CONDITION: The clock is in original vintage condition with wear typical of age and usage. The clock has a Synchron motor and it functions well. The transformer has a light hum but nothing out of the ordinary. It has a switch attached to turn the neon on and off but it has been bypassed so the neon stays on all the time. It would only take a simple change of wires to hook the switch up again. The switch may have gone bad (hence the bypass) but they are inexpensive to replace. There’s some pitting on the chrome bezel but it’s not terrible. The paint on the face is in good condition with minimal wear or soiling. The paint on the hands is in good condition. The can has typical wear such as overpainting, loss of finish, etc. Please refer to the photos provided for examples of the items condition.
