Garrard Mantle Clock Westminster Clock
Garrard Mantle Clock, made between the 30s and 40s, Art Deco/Moderne style Oak case. Garrard, known for its high quality engineering has made a well-built movement for the clock even the plates for the movement have fancy engine turned designs on it, and the Garrard key has elaborate decorations incorporated in it. Eight day movement with Quarterly Westminster Chimes on built-in rods. Switch on the right-hand side of the dial to turn off the chimes. Cabinet is about 11 inches wide, 9 inches tall, and 5 inches deep. The face shows a worn part of the silvering on the left side. I don’t know enough if it can be restored with polishing or some other preparation. Please ask any questions that you may have, I will try to answer them as soon as I can.
