When I turn the knob on the back to set the time only the minute hand moves. The hour hand stays at the 10 o’clock position. There is no wind-up key to wind up and see if it runs and keeps time so I do not know if this works. I don’t know how to fix clocks but since there was only 1 small nut on the back I unscrewed it to show the inside back of the clock (photo 15). One of the tiny nuts to hold the box plate on is missing (photo 19). As far as the material I think this is a white spelter metal. A magnet does NOT attract to it. No chips or cracks on the convex glass but it does have discoloration/staining to it. Clock measures 6 1/2″ x 3 1/4″ x 5 1/2. Weighs 2 pounds 14 ounces (prior to packaging).
