The clock needs restoration, new cord, maybe more. There is a small nip on the upper front, and a chip on the back (see attached pictures). It looks like there are some particles inside the face too. Vintage Hermie Art Deco Retro Mantel Clock 1280/1 (1950-60) – WORKS. This does work and keeps pretty nice time but loses about 4 min per day. A mid 1930s Deco style Gondola clock by Frank Mariani of Diecasters, New York. It has a metal base and frame with a Celluloid dial. The clock is about 7.5″ high and 7″ wide at the base.
