It is not running, the motor is humming, but hands don’t move or keep time. This is a popular mystery clock, and it can be restored to work again, but the real rarity is the Wildwood by the Sea original etched base. There was a short time when a sign stood outside the town that read “Wildwood by the Sea, NJ”. This was made at that time. 1950’s, Wildwoods Golden Age of Doo-Wop. A treasure of the South New Jersey Shore. The Wildwoods by the Sea is etched into the base and original to the clock. Likely a one of a kind clock. A must have for the local history buff.
