Antique 1930’s Art Deco “Bentima” Chiming Mantel Clock with “Perivale” Mechanism. This is an antique 1930’s Art Deco “Bentima” chiming mantel clock with “Perivale” mechanism. This clock is in excellent condition and is in full working order. It has an interestingly shaped Art Deco domed topped body with an oak inlay to the bottom. The oak has a light brown coloured finish with a darker visible grain. The face is circular in shape with a silver coloured metal chapter ring, black coloured numerals and silver coloured hands. The face is protected by a. Glass door with a chromed metal bezel. The glass is intact and in excellent condition with no scratches, cracks or chips. To the rear of the clock is the door to the mechanism chamber. The door is intact and in excellent condition. This chimes on the hour (chiming the numbers of hours) and on the half hour (once).
