We are pleased to offer this superb French art deco mantel clock by Fritz Marti and comes complete with original pendulum and key. This gorgeous timepiece dates back to the early 1900’s and features a beautiful gilt bronze pheasant sculpture resting on a tri-colored polished marble base. The movement backplate is signed with Fritz Marti clockmaker’s mark and reads: Medaille D’or F. Marti Paris 1900 along with two numbers. 116 at top and 307 on the bottom. The original blue paper inside back door has been taped back on. This fabulous, rare clock keeps time and runs for a week after winding. Bell counts the hour and rings every half hour. 25.25″ wide x 6″ deep x 13 high. Very good working condition with a few small minor chips on edges. Nothing significant, we only mention for accuracy.
