Antique 1930’s English Art Deco Oak Chiming Mantel Clock. English Art Deco oak chiming mantel clock. This is in Excellent condition and is in full working order. It has a wonderful oak body in a stout Napoleon hat shape and has beautiful Art Deco style carving to each side. The oak has a dark brown coloured finish with a darker visible grain. The face is circular in shape with a silver coloured metal chapter ring, black. Numerals and black coloured hands. The face is protected by a convex glass door with a chromed metal bezel. The glass is in excellent condition with no scratched, cracks or chips. To the back is the door to the mechanism chamber. The door is intact and in excellent condition. This chimes (on a coil) on the hour (chiming the numbers of hours) and on the half hour (once). This comes complete with its pendulum and key. Height: 22cm (8 3/4). Depth: 12.5cm (5).
