Hermle Westminster Chime Mantle Clock (1950s). This piece has been professionally cleaned, checked and adjusted in order to ensure optimal performance. It is an 8 day windup clock, with its original key, and you must wind up both the clock and its chimes. The works are very quiet and you must put your ear directly on the clock in order to hear it ticking. It’s Westminster chimes are sonorous and delightful to hear, but they are not overly loud. You can easily sleep in the next room. I did test it out on my wife who usually wakes up at the slightest sound. It keeps perfect time throughout its 8 day cycle and despite being 70+ years old it’s overall appearance and operating condition are excellent.
