Clock weight with movement: 1912 gr. French wooden clock in excellent working order. This clock has an 8-day movement on thick bronze plates running on two jewels stones, serial number 30621. The rectangular dial is closed by a thin convex glass. The body has some wear and tear. There are marks on the back cover W. 10.4.35 (see photo). Chipped glass in the lower right corner. Over the following decades, the company changed its name – from Duverdrey & Bloquel to Bayard – and manufactured many models of clocks, including traditional travel clocks with solid brass cases and stainless steel faces, sides, and backs. 1928 The Bayard brand is registered by the Société des Anciens Establishments Duverdrey-Bloquel. One sees appearing on the catalogs a circle marked with two stars, the sun, and the inscription “Bayard” and “D-B”. Important: The age of the piece is determined approximately.
