The colors compliment each other perfectly. The honey onyx contrasts, almost appearing lit up, off the sage green and black onyx. A hinged silver frame holds spectacular curved glass that protects the beautiful square clock face with black numerals on an ivory background. The hour and minute hands are silver and match the frame. This clock has adorned my mantle as the centerpiece of my living room for 15 years. The design is very striking, the colors fantastic and I’ve received a number of compliments on its beauty and design. I believe the clock was made in France. You’ll know this beautiful art deco time piece is working because you’ll hear the hearty tick. Width at base: 19. Weight of all 3 pieces: 28 lbs. The onyx is not flawless. There are small chips on some corners but the set looks fantastic if you’re not inspecting it closely. The imperfections are minor and none of my guests notice them, even when they’re admiring the set. There are two scratches on the face of the clock in between the 3 and the 4. In my opinion, it’s also not noticed by anyone. I’ve photographed the set in a way to show you the imperfections so there won’t be any surprises when you open my package. I was challenged with reflections from the curved glass so I had to shoot from angles. Please look at the photos carefully as they are part of the description.
