For your consideration, we are offering for sale this Circa 1920s French Art Deco Clock with Garnitures in working condition. I would condition the color to be cream colored onyx with grey accents. Figures at the front depict a dancer and Pan with a flute – notice the Pan has little horns and a tail. Dancer is signed near the base “France”. The clock has a Roman Numeral dial, marked R. Leguelinel” and “Lillebonne France. Clock movement backplate is marked “JS FRANCE 38″ by unknown maker with serial number 77113. The condition of the clock does work to keep time and chimes on the half hour an hour. There are no cracks or repairs but shows minor signs of age to metal finish, very minor flakes and knicks to marble bases – hardware attaching figures has been replaced with modern, see images. The clock measures 13.5″ tall x 16″ wide x 7.75 deep. Garnitures each measure 10.8″ tall x 4.3″ wide. This is a spectacular Art Deco clock that is working. This is an incredible decorator piece that gives wonderful charm to any room. I spend a great deal of time traveling, talking with people, sitting at auctions and waiting in line at estate sales to find these pieces. Some of the items are “farm fresh” and some I have had in my possession for years and time to let others enjoy. If I can find out, I will. These are antiques so expect them not to be “perfect”.
