I was unable to date this clock specifically, but I did learn the Silvercraft name was owned by Farber Bros (NY) and only used from 1923 until 1932, so circa 1930. If you appreciate home accents from the art deco period and looking for something spectacular to sit in a small place, this is an eye-catching conversation starter which may be the “next” piece you’ve been looking for. Other than one tiny scratch on the face (between the 2 and 3 position, see image), the clock is in excellent condition with a nice even patina, showing only minor signs of age and wear, mechanisms are tight, runs well, keeps great time, has a fast/slow adjustment, and other than being a little loud (for a night stand), it’s a stunning art deco era time piece. The rough overall measurements are 5 3/4″ wide, 3 1/2″ tall, and 2 1/4 deep (front to back) with the easel extended. I have described this clock as best I can, but to augment my description I have provided several high-resolution images of the clock from varying angles, to include close-ups of the accents and details, to allow for a detailed review of quality, condition, and desirability. This will be packaged with care to best ensure this rarely found (nearly antique) clock arrives as pictured and described.
