It does work just fine! Art deco style with Lucite and brass alloy(high copper content), manual wound. It measures 4″ x 1 1/2″ x 3 /14. The Lucite translucent circular case is mounted on a small rectangular brass pedestal secured at the front by 3 semi-circular fluted brass disks and at the sides by 2 Lucite spheres and all screwed down into place on a larger rectangular brass base with four button feet. The base is marked, “242”. The dial center is signed Jaeger LeCoultre – 8 – Swiss. Condition: Signs of of aging in that the Lucite is a bit darker than when it was made around the outer edge and crackled like pattern on the backside. The movement casing on the back has some patchy oxidation. I have copied the Appraisal papers in the listing. You will NOT be able to find a photo of the clock anywhere on the internet (at least the appraiser nor I found any photos) so this is truly rare. Please feel free to ask any questions you might have or if you’d like more pictures of the clock I’m happy to do so. Thank you so much! Thank you for looking!
