This Art Deco design series from General Electric from the early fifties was very popular. This radio has ALL original knobs. Clock and clock set works, and quiet clock motor keeps accurate time. Alarm and alarm set works as well. Sleep function also works. The brass colored metal clock surround is very classy. The clock face has a burgundy pearl-like (marbled) colored face. All the dial numbers and letters are crisp and clear. There are 2 almost invisible scratches and one crack (3/4) on the top (pic 5 & 6) which cannot spoil the overall impression. The tuning and volume dials work fine as well as tubes. The power cord and plug are new with no cracks or electrical repair. All wiring was thoroughly checked for possible bridging and weak solder connection. Overall – this is an excellent vintage tube radio for those who wants some touch of 50s. The possibility of the item being damaged is very low as it will be in appropriate packaging. Force-major issues are negotiable.
