Cartier Art Deco Pendulette Basculante Alarm clock, circa 1990. This clock is one of the most attractive of the Maison, although it is extremely difficult to find one in suitable condition due to its material. The rocking frame is made of gilded steel, and decorated with flower motifs in red and black lacquer. The clock has quartz movement and alarm function. The square dial has painted arabic numerals and phosphorescent hands. Top and base are black ceramic. On the sides and back of the frame, it has a total of four. Gorgeous cabochon sapphires that give the piece the traditional Cartier aura. The only slight damage is a small section of black enamel missing (please see photographs).
