This will run when plugged in – there is buzz when it first starts – but that goes away. There are no chips or cracks. This smells musty – it might be the cord. The clock part wobbles a little on the base when you shake it. I think the base is chrome – the clock is very heavy. The book says this model is called a LUXOR. There is scuffing to the numbers around the face – see photos 3 & 4. This is 5 inches tall and 7 & 1/2 inches wide at the base. There is also some loss to the silvering of the mirror see photo 7 & 8 & 9. There is a small dark spot on the back of the clock in two spots – see photos 6 & 10. I will consider all offers.
