STUNNING Vintage MID-CENTURY ArT DeCO JAEGER-LECOULTRE Desk/Mantle CLOCK/Watch. Here we have a stunningly simple, yet strikingly bold mid-century desk/mantle clock from Jeager-LeCoultre in superb condition and keeping great time! The original dial is beautiful with numbers at 12,3,6 and 9 with angular sector style hour markers giving it that sharp, classic Art Deco look. Signed Jeager-LeCoultre, 2 Jours or 2 days which means the clock should run about 2 days on a full wind which it has done for me. Its not “exactly” on time, but certainly close enough for a clock of this age and can be adjusted through an aperture in the back of the case faster or slower. The brass colored case is very cubic and minimalist in design, measuring about 5″ by 3.5″ by about 1 thick with blue screws on the sides and to me completes the mid-century modern look to perfection. On the back we find the winding and setting knob at the middle bottom which winds in regular position and sets when pressed in. A beautifully design and meticulously crafted, HIGH quality clock from one of the most famous Swiss watch and clock makers in history, Jeager-LeCoultre.
