Lovely art deco marble clock in a light pink marble with a stylised spelter bird. Marble is in fabulous condition and has only one very minor chip to the back of the clock at the top as shown in the photos. The bird is beautifully designed and again in great condition with no issues. The original clock movement was sadly beyond repair and so this has been professionally replaced with a quartz movement and so now runs perfectly with no need to remember to wind it! As you can see from the photos, the back case still fits on so hides the battery. No maker’s name to the piece but likely of French origin. A stunning art deco clock!
