Paul Frankl Rare M-1 Telechron Clock 1930 Mirrored Art Deco Icon Runs
Here is a rare and iconic Art Deco clock designed by Paul Frankl for Telechron Model M-1 with a presentation plate on the top dated 1930. The clock is 8 tall and the base is 6 long. Cosmetically the front is quite good all original with distinctive dial and geometric glass pattern. The sides have the sort of wear and oxidation seen on virtually every example. The top features an engraved brass presentation plate – the Southern California Restaurant Association to a beloved member, dated 9-3-1930 – a nice date and neat Southern Cali connection. The wire is good and the clock runs I plugged it in and it started up immediately. This is the rarest and most desirable clock ever offered by Telechron, easily the most expensive and the one and only design for Telechron executed by Paul Frankl. More than just a pretty picture.
