Very Rare Circa 1931 Art Deco Ingraham Mantle Clock With Radio Receiver
Each week I bring you vintage early radio items. I have been collecting radios, phonographs, and music boxes for over 40 years and always have something interesting available. Made by American Bosch, this is a very hard to find radio. This is model 5AC. It uses three type 24 tubes, one type 47, and one type 80. The wood case is solid, and the original finish looks excellent, with only slight wear. The wood has one tiny chip on the left side(see photo). The chassis is clean and complete. The filter capacitors and power cord were changed, and the radio plays and gets stations clearly and with good volume when plugged in and a long wire antenna is connected. The clock runs and keeps time, the motor is noisy. The radio measures 14 inches high, 15 inches wide, and 7.5 inches deep. This is an amazing radio for your collection or museum. ANY USE , OR ADJUSTMENTS ARE AT YOUR OWN RISK. The free listing tool. The item “VERY RARE CIRCA 1931 ART DECO INGRAHAM MANTLE CLOCK WITH RADIO RECEIVER” is in sale since Tuesday, June 28, 2016.
