This is a SUPERIOR example of an German Very High Quality 100% ALL-ORIGINAL Art Deco Mantle Clock with WESTMINSTER CHIMES in OUTSTANDING condition. This is a beautiful clock. It was made in German circa 1920 probably by the Haller Clock Company. Has a large, heavy duty movement! This particular model is in outstanding, 100% ALL ORIGINAL condition. It has an 8-day time, chime and strike WESTMINSTER movement, which chimes on every quarter hour and also strikes the hours on the hour on chime rods with a very beautiful mellow sound. The clock strikes on the quarter-hour and counts the hours on the hour on 5 chime rods. It plays 4 notes at the first ¼, 8 notes on the half hour, 12 notes on the ¾ hour and 16 notes plus strikes the hour on the hour! The movement runs very well and keeps good time. We have included some pictures of the movement and the chime rods also so you can see this clocks inner beauty! Measures 9 inches high, 10 inches wide and 5 ¾ inches deep. This would be the highlight of any mantle. The clock has a nice quiet way it ticks also. The case is beautiful and original! All parts are complete. The dial is in near perfect condition. The heavy metal surrounding the dial with its heavy original glass is also in great condition. Complete with a heavy pendulum and a new heavy duty key. The back and back door are original and in great condition and the bottom also with its original feet! These antique clocks amaze me – could you imagine any other consumer product still working perfectly after 80 years!
