Please study photographs of the phenolic case carefully – you can see from the inside that it probably started life as green but has mellowed over the years to the beautiful toffee colour that you see in the photographs; there is a big crack across one corner of the top piece as clearly shown and, also, a mark (probably where a finial or something had once been) that will probably polish out. There are some stress cracking within the material as you would expect – see images. I have not tried to clean it at all. The overall height of the case is 9 3/8″ and the total width is 9″ at widest (other dimensions are shown in photos on the hosting site [see above] and are in mm). Please see my similar listings.
