The case is oak veneered, although this is in good quality oak with a silvered anodised dial. It has 4 chime rods gong and 3 strike rods gong. The clock measures: 24 cm in height, 47 cm in width, 14 cm in depth. Chimes the quarters and strikes the hours on rods mounted on the base of the case. This is a working clock and is in very good condition, given the apparent age of this timekeeping device. There is appropriate and honest wear and patina from true use over the many years.
