Vintage 1904 Art Deco Solid Silver Desk Bedside Travel Clock Case fitted with an 1899 Waltham Hillside Pocket Watch The easel case is in excellent condition with minimal age related wear that does not detract from its overall presentation or use, some minor tarnishing in places, the cartouche is unengraved and the leather rear easel stand is in excellent condition, the interior is in lovely condition too. It is fully hallmarked J Blanckensee & Co, Birmingham, 1904 It measures approx 8.5cm high by 7.5cm wide and 3.5cm thick, it weighs approx 63.50 grammes The solid silver Waltham pocket watch is fully hallmarked Waltham Watch Company, Birmingham, 1899, it has a later engraving to rear’From Mum & Dad 1942′ perhaps grandfather’s pocket watch passed down to father passed down to son going off to fight in WW2…. The enamel face is in excellent condition as is the watch crystal with no visible scratches.
