This listing is for a Rare Old Vintage 1920s / 1930s Art Deco Seikosha Japanese Desk / Table / Shelf Clock with Vaseline Glass Case. It is a Vibrant Yellow Green Vaseline Color but does Not Glow under a Blacklight. The Square Shaped Clock Face is Marked “Trade Mark S (in Diamond and Circle) 8 DAY MADE BY SEIKOSHA, TOKYO, JAPAN” (photo 5). No Markings on back that I can find. It has a very unique asymmetrical Geometric Shape. Some surfaces have a Frosted Satin Finish and others are Cut and Polished smooth. I cannot find another Clock like this! Glass is very Czech looking. Any info would be appreciated! It is in very good vintage condition with no cracks. There are some chips to the corners (photos 10-12), are the worst. I wound it a turn or 2 and it ran through the night, keeping good time. Aged Patina to Brass. No other issues that I can find. Please view the photos carefully as they are my main description. It is thick and heavy for its size weighing over 3 lbs before packing and will be securely packaged and double boxed. It measures 6 7/8″ wide at the base, 5 13/16″ tall to highest part, and 2 5/16 deep front to back.
