This large art deco clock was made by Smiths and has a beautifully decorative sunburst frame made of resin and finished in gilt. It has a cream clock face with a silver border and black numerals, covered with a domed glass. The clock has a later battery mechanism fitted, rather than the mains power it would have come with. In fair condition commensurate with its age and use. The tip of the topmost’ray’ has been broken off and reattached and there is some tarnishing to the gilt.
