Stunning Art Deco sterling silver and guilloche enamel clock, fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1930. This is a very beautiful and classic Art Deco silver and enamel easel back clock. The clock is rectangular in shape with classic Art Deco block and fan design to the top and sides and a large rectangular guilloche enamel border surrounding the clock face. The clock face has pale engine turned background with gold hands and numerals. The clock face is marked 8 days and Swiss Made. The clock is 5 inches / 127 mm wide and 3-1/2 inches / 89 mm tall. The clock weighs 268 grams. The clock has clear hallmarks – lion passant, London mark, anchor for Birmingham, letter F for 1930 and maker’s mark C&N for Crisford & Norris. The clock is in excellent condition with no dents, damage or repair. Note: Whilst the clock should be working, I will never guarantee this nor the accuracy of time keeping.
