This clock is almost 100 years old. It belonged to my grandfather in Germany. I grew up with this clock, it always hung in my grandfather’s kitchen. Since he was almost blind, he never wanted a new one, because he could read the large numbers on that clock and later, as his eyes became weaker, he could feel the big hands to “feel” the time. When my grandfather passed away, it became my clock and I brought it to Cleveland, OH. It has been running steadily on my kitchen wall for approx. I had it serviced once and when I did, the clockmaker painted the back of the clock movement housing which had become unsightly. If there was a brand name on the back housing, he may have painted over it. There is no brand name on the front. The clock still runs perfectly. It needs to be wound approx. Clock is in excellent condition, the porcelain is shiny and like new. The clock is hanging and working at present on my kitchen wall. 10 inches wide, 8 1/2 inches tall.
