I have for sale a top quality 1900s carriage clock made in France in a beautiful rare case with solid brass gilded mask which has a nice chased centre above a shiny brass backing , this clock and case have been fully restored this is a rare A. Style of case work with the rare barley twist columns and solid matching handle. You will not find another like this one it is a cracker and in great condition for 120 years old. The case is in solid heavy brass and stands 6.5 high x 3.35 wide with a depth of 2.5 it is in good condition with original bevelled glass sides/front/back door and rare style of case having a thick cast handle the whole thing is simply beautiful and very pleasing on the eye. The dial is in original condition with a white porcelain with Arabic numerals but housed in the most beautiful mask which is gilded and contains chasing work to the centre of which is a piece of art in its own right, this clock also contains the original black spade hands. When the sun light catches the front panel the whole clock comes alive and glimmers so beautifully. The movement is an eight day time only; the movement has been fully ultra sonic restored and serviced, new spring then , oiled so keeping great time over the eight days via the jewelled escapement to the top. The key is included. Overall a very beautiful top quality carriage clock that looks lovely on display and contains all of its original features this is quite a rare find these days.
