Unique Art Deco Cast Bronze Dial Mantel Chiming Clock Oak Case c1925. A wonderful Art Deco era case clock, in typical mantel style case to fit along a narrow shelf or mantelpiece. A particularly dramatic, striking art deco era design in oak supporting a cast bronze dial/face with embossed numerals. The clock presents in exce3llent condition, the case and dial, hands etc all in remarkable condition. Inside the movement is complete and comes with key and pendulum. I cant see any makers marks to the movement. I had this ticking for 20 minutes or so however it seems to peter out before long. It did chime dutifully on the hour! I’m expecting the clock will need adjustment, a service or similar attention from someone familiar with clock movements. The clock is 46cm x 28cm x 11.5cm Weight approx 4 kilos.
